My name is Libby Davis, I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in Ada, Oklahoma. I am a retired ‘purchasing specialist’ for the Texas Workforce Solutions – Vocational Rehabilitation Services-State of Texas for 20 years.
I have several gifts and talents, but the one I believe will be most valuable to the Board are my experiences as a certified purchaser for the State of Texas. I also have a background in computer service applications and data entry, and I have work experiences in the auditing of policy in casefile management. These are all areas utilized in the CBFL casefile management by the consumer service delivery staff. As we endeavor to add value to the CBFL, I believe my work experiences will enhance the guidance of the Board’s directives.
I am married and we have four (4) adult children and nine (9) grandchildren.
My hobbies are sewing, arts and crafts and gardening.
For the last (30) years, I have advocated for persons with disabilities because my niece has spina bifida, and whatever I have learned I’ve chosen to use for her benefit.
