HCIL staff, people with disabilities themselves, provide services and opportunities such as: peer-to-peer counseling, independent living skills training, consumer independent living plans and goals determination, Deaf and Hard of Hearing independent living services counseling, individual and systems advocacy, information & referral assistive technology, work incentives benefits counseling, relocation services from nursing homes to community-based settings, transition services for youth with disabilities, and Disability Pride and culture activities.
