ANABEL RIOS-SENIOR INDEPENDENT LIVING-COMMUNITY INTEGRATION SPECIALIST (SR. IL-CIS)!
As the Senior Independent Living Specialist, her primary responsibilities are to guide and assist consumers who aim to live independently but have difficulty due to mental or physical disabilities.
She is responsible for assisting people with disabilities (PWD) to receive appropriate services which will enable them to live more independently and integrate into the communities in which they live.
Her work includes but is not limited to peer-to-peer mentorship, and independent living skills training in individual and systems advocacy.
She provides community integration advocacy work to remain in or transition to living in the community.
She is very knowledgeable and very resourceful.
She is friendly and always has a smile on her face.
She is dependable, and you can count on her to do her work professionally.
