Chris Noble, Secretary of the Board

My name is Chris Noble. I was born Syracuse, New York, raised in St. Louis, Missouri and have lived in Houston, Texas since 1969. I am currently retired from my own business, but I continue to be employed at ‘The Rose’. From a time long before pink ribbons covered the landscape, Dorothy Gibbons and Dr. Dixie’s passionate advocacy established The Rose as an acclaimed model of breast health care. From mammograms to biopsies to treatment, The Rose excels in advanced digital imaging, mobile mammography, patient navigation, and medical excellence. Since its launch in 1986, The Rose has served nearly 500,000 patients and is now the leading nonprofit breast health care organization in southeast Texas. Board-certified radiologists, specialized technical staff, four Mammography Coaches, and two Diagnostic Imaging Centers give access to treatment to more than 40,000 women annually.

I have a Master’s in Education, with eight years as an educator with the HISD. I have a business background and was the owner of the Marnoble Computer company for over 24 years.

I bring numerous business strategies to the CBFL Board as well as a knowledge of computer operations, valuable to the organization. I also bring a sense of humor that is a part of my personality that is always enjoyed by all.

I am a widow having been married 27 years to Mike Martin, who is the creator and corporate sponsor of the Mike Martin Foundation that provides ‘annual tokens of appreciation’ to the employees of the CBFL.

I am a 10-year practicing ‘artist’. I have created over 700 pieces of art that is currently being presented at a neighborhood art gallery. My art creations have raised over $15,000.00 benefitting The Rose.
