BRAILLE 101 - BEGINNING CLASSES
6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th,
9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
Would you like to learn Braille? HCIL will again offer this opportunity with Braille 101-Beginning classes for weekly Tuesday sessions on June 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Whether you are visually impaired or not, Braille is a valuable skill which can offer the ability to experience information through the sense of touch. While the wonders of technology do provide blind and visually impaired people with disabilities new ways to absorb information, the truth is technology will always depend upon external factors such as electricity, access to internet, etc. Learn to read and write Braille through peer support. Call to register today to take advantage of this independent living skills class. Space is limited with a first come, first serve registration basis.
