HCIL staff, people with disabilities themselves, provide services and opportunities such as: peer-to-peer counseling, independent living skills training, consumer independent living plans and goals determination, deaf and hard of hearing independent living services counseling, individual and systems advocacy, information & referral assistive technology, work incentives benefits counseling, relocation services from nursing homes to community-based settings, transition services for youth with disabilities, Affordable Care Act outreach and education, and Disability Pride and Culture activities.

Would you like to learn Braille? Join HCIL for Braille 101-Beginner classes. Whether you are visually impaired or not, Braille is a valuable skill which can offer the ability to experience information through the sense of touch. Call us to register and take advantage of this independent living skills class. Space is limited with a first come, first serve registration basis.
